  1. h**l yeah, go to the local grocery store and get about three big packs of chicken drumsticks for about $4 apiece.  However you guys want, with either fries or chips and bread.  You still have $30.  Smoking it on a grill sounds to be faster for so many guest but it should be great.  You are a good mom!

  2. Chinese Chicken (so easy)

    Chicken/broccoli stir fry

You can roast a chicken with lots of veggies and potatoes

    Grilled chicken, veggies and potatoes

    Chicken pot pies

You can make cupcakes instead of cake

  3. you can do anything with chicken, on the cheap too.

just buy chicken breast and chop it up in 1cm x 1cm squares, that way it will go further.

then buy chicken sauces, they have a massive range (country chicken, apricot chicken, butter chicken etc)

i have no idea what she likes, but everyone i have served my recipes to has loved it.

i modified it for 9 people

    Chicken King Ranch Casserole

chicken breast packet (the ones u get pre-packed, not fromt he deli)

    1 chopped onion

    2 tsp oil

2 can of cream of something soup (or make your own of course!)

    can of diced tomatoes

    bout a teaspoon of chillies

Cheddar cheese (asmuch as u want)

10 corn tortillas, torn into pieces

Saute the onion in a bit of oil until soft, 5 minutes or so. Stir in the can of soup, the chicken, the tomatoes and chilies  Stir and heat through.

In a 9x9 pan, lay 1/3 of the torn tortillas, spoon 1/3 of the chicken mix over the top, and sprinkle 1/3 of the cheese. Repeat two more layers: tortillas, chicken mix, cheese. Bake at 350 for 40 minutes.

Just change the "scale" to 12.

Serve with salad and garlic bread

You'll save money by mixing up a homemade vinaigrette

You should easily stay under budget with this, maybe even have extra toward more presents or decorations?

Congratulations and happy birthday to your daughter.
