I need suggestions on what degree to get in college.?

Currently, I am going into my sophomore year of college at the University of Michigan- Ann Arbor. I am interested in pursuing a career in Indian Television and Bollywood Films. I will not get a degree in acting, since there is no guarantee that I will become an actor with that degree. My family wants me to do economics or business. However, I am not interested in those fields. I want to get a degree in something that is interesting, creative, and something that will make good money in the future. Can someone suggest some good degrees to get within those guidelines?

Why not get a degree in film making, or the equivalent at U of M. Business is a good minor to have for the movie industry. Look up the local club at U of M that is associated with film, they'll know what would be best.
