  1. You can try looking at HomeDepot or Lowes. They have white picked fence sections (think 5 or 10 foot lengths) for pretty cheap. Get a couple of those and that should do the trick (pretty sure they stand at 3 or 4 feet high)

  2. I think the cheapest and easiest way to go to keep your toddler safe is to buy utility fencing at your local home improvement store. The information I'm about to give you is based on merchandise available at Lowes.

Utility fencing is generally made out of steel and comes in a roll. It's sold by feet and wire gauge. It's general purpose fencing that is rigid and strong enough for what you have in mind.

The smallest roll I found was a 50ft. roll, 36" tall for 28.97. Then all you need is utility fencing 4' light-duty steel fence posts to keep the fence upright. You space the posts 5 feet apart from each other and affix the fencing to the posts and you're done. Each post costs 2.39 and you'll need just five for the 22ft of fencing you'll need. Complete fence will run you under $45 dollars.

Here are the Lowes websites for each product mentioned above:

Good luck keeping your toddler safe.

  3. If you can find a piece of chicken wire and some bamboo. cut the bamboo off at and angle and run it thru the wire with the pointed end going into the ground. Toddler proof.

  4. chicken wire is probably the simplest temporary fence, after a year or 2 u can take it down.
