. Curb population growth thus preventing urbanization/deforestation - trees absorb co2 so by cutting them down that co2 is emitted back into the atmosphere thus heating up the earths surface. (see 7 for more)

2. Waste less energy- use floresient lighting which uses less energy and are less wasteful because their lifespan is significantly longer. (Throw away less light bulbs) Solar heating in home meaning use less oil to heat home.

3. Pollute/litter less - recycle!

4. Carpool- cut down on co2 emissions by doing so.

5. More gas efficient cars- less co2 emissions

6. Find a more efficient bio-fuel - alternative to gasoline such as Ethanol. (argument is that ethanol wouldn't do much though because even though it would emit zero co2 emissions it would emit many to produce it. Farming methods (tractors) converting it from corn to ethanol - all these things emit co2 emissions and release energy.)

7. Plant trees :)...trees obsorb co2 so it would reduce global warming because the co2 levels is what builds up that prevent the ultra-violet rays to leave the atmosphere which in return heats up the atmosphere

8. Renewable energy - Tidal energy- tide directs a turbine (gravitational pull fuels the tide - mouth of river) or maybe

winder turbines

  2. The only one I see a "con" to is the first one!  Eventually, you will have no work force to support the aged population.  Europe is beginning to see this problem already and they are scrambling for answers.  The others are all "pros"!  Even if they need adjusted in the future, you will still be doing something positive.
