  1. Dan E has the correct answer with "The large orange drink" bit. Unfortunately I couldn't get the sample clip to load at any of the usual places (Amazon, Barnes & Noble). But I did get a short sample at the below link.

The confusion is that there were two similar bits by different sets of comedians. The Belushi/Ackroyd bit was an SNL classic and spawned a chain of restaurants named "Cheeburger, Cheeburger."

The bit is set in a greasy spoon restaurant run by.. I dunno Bulgarians or something with Belushi behind the counter as the fry cook. But the catch words were: "cheebuggah, cheebuggah;" and "Pessi, pessi, No COKE!"

Some unsuspecting customer would always end up getting yelled at by Belushi who would then threaten him. It was a great bit and, though very repetitious, never lost its edge.

IMHO SNL has never been the same as those first few years under Lorne Michaels. The ensemble of Belushi, Ackroyd, Murray, Chevy, Gilda, Jane ("You ignorant SL*T!"), Laraine, Garrett and guest stars Mr. Bill, Father Guido and others was unbeatable. Unfortunately things were not as good backstage as they were in front of the cameras and by the '79 season the show was pretty much toast.

I love it when I get lucky

The SNL skit was more recent.  The original was on radio.

  3. That skit was originally from Saturday Night Live, early 80's. I don't know the name of it.

  4. It was SNL and was with John Belushi as the waiter and Dan Akroyd as the cook.
