I want to visit Australia and I would need a job, because I plan to live when I'm 18.

First off:

1.Is a job easy to find?

2.How are you granted citizenship?

3.How do visas work?

Forget it as you firstly need certain skills.

Australia is only searching for people who are necessarily needed.

It's hard to get there.

And before you ever think of moving there I recommend to come over as a tourist first to find out if you REALLY like it.

You're best bet would be to come to Australia on a working holiday. This way you can see Australia and work at the same time.

What experience do you have? Hospitality would be extremly helpful in seeking work followed by retail. The best places for you to start would be Melbourne or Sydney, due to the high levels of work available.

1. If you have the experience and stick to the city areas you shouldn't have a problem - pubs/clubs, retail stores in the capital cities are always looking for staff.

2. You're not granted citizenship. You first need to be a permanent resident for 2year, you then need to take our citizenship test as well as the fee's associated to become a citizen.

The easiest way to get permanent residency is through work sponsorship. For this you need to be classified as a 'skilled' worker, which at 18 chances are you're not.

3. There are many different visas, from tourist - student - working - working holiday, etc..

If you are a UK or US citizen, Australia has a visa waiver program allowing a tourist based visit for up to 90days. But you cannot work while here, if you want to work you need a visa.
