  1. stay calm, don't think about it, don't watch it and it will be over before you know it.

  2. This isn't guaranteed to work but it works for me when I start losing my bearings.

Breath slowly in you nose and out your mouth, in doing so try to visualize you separating from yourself and going somewhere else. In other words, try to mediate.

  3. My sister is 36 and she hates getting her blood drawn too.  She has made this less traumatic by taking a small stuffed animal with her to hold while it's being done.  She closes her eyes, and concentrates on her teddy bear and she is able to endure it.  Or, you could take someone with you who can hold your hand.  Having someone there for moral support can be quite helpful at alleviating your anxiety.

  4. i dont know i hate them too.
