I need tips on what to wear and what to do for volleyball tryouts tommorow!

i'm a junior and this is my 1st highschool experience with volleyball so any help i can get would be great@

  1. wear short shorts

    t-shirt

    and sneaker with knee pads


  2. I suggest spandex with shorts over them, a sports bra, and a light t-shirt. Running sneakers work great, and put your hair back into a pony. Just relax for try-outs!! You'll do great!

  3. spandex are the most comfortable thing to wear for shorts.

    id wear something bright so you stand out and so that the coach can remember you when hes picking the team.

  4. I would wear a tank top or t-shirt, spandex or soffe shorts, tennis shoes, your hair in a ponytail or messy bun, and some volleyball pads.  Good luck and have fun!

  5. spandex shorts, loose t-shirt (volleyball shirt if you have one) volleyball socks kneepads and running shoes don't wear earings hair clips just put it back in a pony!!! you'll do great

  6. You should wear spandex, but if you don't have any normal running short will work OK.  Also, you will probably need knee pads and volleyball shoes (or running shoes if you don't have them.)

    Make sure you are loud on the court.  Coaches love girls who are leaders on the court!!  This includes encouraging everyone else.  And don't get down on yourself.  This makes you do worse.  If you make a mistake, shake it off and get the next one!

  8. You might want to try spandex shorts.

    I'm serious.

    If that is too weird, Soffe shorts are great.

    And a loose tshirt, comfortable sneakers, and kneepads. Put your hair up and  put in a stretchy headband.

    You can't use metal clips in your hair, and take off any jewelry and take out any piercings, ears, tongue, bellybutton, whatever.

    get knee pads (you can find them in Olympia Sports etc.)

    think about wearing knee high socks, cuz you'll be sliding on the ground A LOT! (polished gym floors + skin = noooooot pretty

    wear a shirt you don't mind getting sweaty in

    (i would suggest you NOT wear a spaghetti strap, maybe one of the thicker tanks)

  10. wear spandex shorts (soffee ones if you don't have a pair of spandex)

    and a tank top or cami underneath a loose t shirt along with long socks and sneakers

    make sure you don't let a ball drop

    if it's near you and no one else calls for it then GET IT

    also, make sure you're loud and calling for the ball...coaches love that

    try your best and don't let yourself get the best of you (my problem)

    even if you miss a serve or a spike just forget it and keep on going
