I need tips or tricks on how to quit smoking weed?

i have been smoking for around 3 years and now i'm trying to quit it is just really hard for me right now.

  1. Get a few packs of long-sticked gum and roll them up. Replace them with any weed in the house, and chew (or 'puff') on those instead!  


  2. Dont' buy it.  And get some new friends that don't smoke.

  3. Nicotine gum, exercise, put a goal into using that money for a nice lcd TV or something, do it for your family feeling guilt, etc.

  4. Be a responsible adult mature person.

I smoked for 10 years every day.  I stopped quite easily by using valium for the first 3 or 4 days.  I was very mindful of not swapping one drug for another and I didn't have any problems, I really only needed it for the first few nights.  I would have a valium at night so I could sleep.  I had to not hang around my pot smoking friends for a while.  I found it pretty easy to stop.  Good luck to you.

Change something else in your life that relates to weed.  I once had this problem and I moved away.  I do realize that is not always feasible, but maybe changing your routine can help as well.  When someone you are dear friends with offers just say I can't right now I am trying to get a job with (make-up a place that tests) that will help with the people that keep you coming back.

  16. You should find an activity to replace smoking pot.  Instead of smoking a fatty go hang out with friends who don't smoke pot,  go work out, go do something productive.  Ditch your pot smoking comrades and get new friends if you need to.  It'll help a lot  

  17. JUST DON'T DO IT. FIND SOMETHING ELSE TO DO WITH YOUR TIME. LIKE RUNNING, WORKING, OR LIKE MAYBE A GIRLFRIEND OR DO IT FOR SOMEONE YOU LOVE MOSTLY!

  19. I hope you can stop. I want to help my boyfriend stop too. I would say like any habit just keep busy so that you don't get bored and want to do it. Go to the movies,start reading,go on a bike ride, go shopping. It will be hard. I drink to much and think of it alot but you can do anything if you really put  your mind to it. Just don't give up on yourself and keep trying. Good luck!=)
