  1. Practice, practice, practice, and have your heart in it 110% at all times, my stepson is only 16 and has won numerous tournaments, in MMA and he's only been in a few years, you can do it. Good Luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. you don't need as much training as the guy just said

but you will need a lot

theres a guy in my gym

    been there 2 years

    hes 16 now

    does high school wrestling

second best fighter according to everyone in there

its good your working on wrestling and BJJ

id suggest finding a sparring partner someone on wrestling would be great so you can practice ground and pound

try to find a good boxing place also

not just kick boxing, finding a muay thai school or something is nice and all but don't underestimate a solid right hand from a boxer

by the time your 17 you should have a very good ground game base with wrestling n BJJ along with working with a partner its then id switch focus n work more stand up but don't give up the BJJ right away

by the time your 18 you could find some local fight

good luck training tho and remember theres always a way out of everything

  3. modernma.com is having a seminr with ERIK PAULSON thats what you need. you need to study submision wrestling or submision fighting.... look for those words when you are looking for a school. they will show you Gi less submissions and reversals at a fast agressive pace. jujitsu is incorporated usually but these schools let you cross train... most BJJ schools dont want you to leave or take a class elsewhere once you are in.

  4. train in a stand up fighting style so u don't get knocked out

  5. If you want to become a legend and are only 15 you should train at a Gracie certified brazilian jiu jitsu gym. It will take you about 8-10 years to recieve your black belt. Then you will need to join some sort of organization that will allow you to start out small and get your feet wet, such as EliteXC or PRIDE ect, ect... You will have to work out 9 hours a day 6 days a week and train 3 hours a day sparring. It takes a lot of dedication to be on top when there is a bunch of guys with the same dream as you.
