  1. Hey,

I learnt spanish in less then two months. I think you can benefit from this program tremendously and pass you class easy.

  2. These resources arn't tailored to Spanish 1 or 2, but the resources at:

    http://www.mindzeit.com/learnspeakspanis...

may be of some help. They are mostly free and include audio and/or video.

Good luck with your Spanish studies. Kay

  3. maybe you can try http://www.studyspanish.com/.

your spanish book should be enough though!  study your book and practice your vocabulary by having conversations in spanish daily.  you can also try flash cards if you really want to get better !

  4. www.livemocha.com

  5. Two words: Rosetta Stone my dear. It really works. you'll be showing off your newly acquired spanish kills in no time. ¡Wow! hablando español es más fácil que yo pensaba or Pensaba que hablando español era duro, what was I thinking...? Now go on and order a chorizo quesadilla with a side of salsa from your nearest TacoBell Drive through. Lol

  6. Here's a website that has a lot of grammar tools. I know you said you didn't mind paying, but this site is free.

It also has lots of worksheets and quizzes in the grammar section.

And you'll find tons and tons of everyday phrases that natives use all the time!

  7. If you don't mind paying, then you can order books online or get Rosetta Stone. RS is a great language program that guarantees you fast results (or at least better results than other language programs) but it's pretty expensive. Another thing you can do is go on Youtube and search videos that teach you the basics to spanish. Or you can get a tutor at your school (if your schools offers tutors) or ask a friend you're comfortable with  for help. Don't worry, don't feel intimidated by other people, remember that everyone learns at a different pace- and it's better that you learn details and at your own pace- because someone people might just know the answer but might be rushing through the information.

I also recommend you make small notes/notecards with everything you know, or all the nouns and verbs and carry it with you for useful times.

  8. Just add an "O" to the end of each word and you have spanish.

  9. Hi,

Don't panic. You'll do ok. I have a multimedia Spanish - English forum. We have tools and a lot of resources that you are welcome to use including videos and podcast audio lessons. You can ask questions in the forum about things you don't understand. We also have chat: text, voice and webcam so you can get even more information and practice what you are learning. You can find us at http://nosayudamos.ning.com/

Good luck and have fun with it.

  10. Rosetta stone is the most advertised course.. but will certainly not make you learn spanish fast.

assimil & pimsleur (for starters) are better choices from my experience.

    good luck

  11. You can message me for free and ill translate im a freshman in high school and im currently taking spanish 2 and 3

  12. its called Rosetta Stone, i see commercials for it on tv all the time, i guess its used by a bunch of corporations who need their employees to learn languages quick, just order a spanish set

  13. A shot in the dark... do you have iTunes?

get a podcast called "Coffee Break Spanish"

    its free.

you dont need an iPod to listen to it.

go to the iTunes store and go to podcasts. i think its under "education"
