  1. Try a CD called Rosetta's stone it will help you improve  your english.

  2. go down to your local english/Irish pub have a few pints and learn from the regulars. or watch english tv and drinking helps you slur when you drink and it sounds english. go to tvshack.net and watch shameless and have a couple of beers as you do it. you'll learn eventually. remember it goes Breakfast dinner tea supper no such thing as lunch for them.

  3. no, sorry

  4. drink some tea with milk, play some cricket, and watch some bbc. try to channel from inner english.

  5. Just watch the BBC channel, they have that here in the states too. Or rent some Monty Python episodes, and repeat the dialogue after them. That's the easiest way.

  6. you can't trogh internet....

the only thing you can do is listening to other's people accent a lot via some videos etc...but really there're not lessons about this....

  7. Take English Courses

  8. http://accent.gmu.edu/browse_atlas.php

This is a great site for accents

  9. No sites that I know of.

But try watching films with english accents in that you can try and pick up on such as the Holiday or The other bolyn girl?

    I hope this helps.

  10. The British Accent may sound the same over and over again to you, however, just like Americans, Brits do not all speak the same. New Yorkers, Texans, Southerners, all speak different here in the USA.

Try to get specifics, like is this person from London, Leeds, Liverpool, Oxford...

Try that and then research some people from that area.

    :)

  11. That depends on the accent.  Watch Yellow Submarine and listen to those accents.  Watch Time Bandits for another accent.  As someone pointed out, watch the BBC News Hour, and there's Fawlty Towers or the original Office Space, if you have cable.  Dr. Who or Are You Being Served.  Even Star Wars IV a New Hope.

  12. english accent do u mean scouser or gordie or cornish or what about yorkshire or even lancs oh i forgot about brummie

  13. Well, the best way to achieve this is to learn IPA and then rewrite your script with the IPA for the English accent.  (This is probably not doable for you at this time though, I took an entire semester in college on Voice and Diction to learn it.)  Aside from that, I really suggest hearing the accent, that is one of the easiest and best ways to get it down.  A good movie to do this with (terribly sorry if you take me up on it for making you watch it so many times) is My Fair Lady.  It is a musical, but if you listen to some of the character you can get the accent, certain parts are good for learning the cockney accent and other parts for proper English accent.  I wouldn't waste my time on websites without sound really, they aren't going to teach you what you need to know.  The site below looks to be alright but I didn't really do much with it.  Hope this helps.

  14. Blimey wanka!

  15. The best way I would think is to watch an English movie and repeat what they say until you have the accent right on target. You don't need to just learn words, and that is what you get with computer stuff. Get a movie with the characters speaking in the English you want and just learn from that. You can even go to the rental place and tell them what you need and they will probably be able to tell you which movies to watch (hopefully a good one at least).

  16. just watch a lot of Monty Python skits on youtube.  it will help you learn, and it's funny as h**l! :D
