It swings about in the wind but I am reluctant to s***w anything into it.

It is on an angle to the window walls. there is a wall about a metre and a half (very approximately) away so apart from lugging heavy doorstops how can I stop this swinging in the wind. The wall is ours but is only a metre and half high at most.as I thought of a hook and chain ...but....not sure this will work.

I could maybe stick something to the window ledge but that just protects it and doesn't stop it swinging.

HELP Please I love sitting in my conservatory but it gets too hot with the door shut even with 4 windows ( top openers only) open.

I have just come through 6 sessions of chemo so I love the peace of sitting there watching the birds. I still have more treatment to get through(surgery possibly and or radiation )so need to solve this problem quickly.

Thanks everyone.

  1. From the information you've provided, If you don't  have to step down from the door opening onto a step, my husband, a carpenter, says the 2 items in the links below might be just what you need.

If you can't install them yourself, it wouldn't be a huge project for a carpenter or handman.   Shouldn't take more than 15 minutes to 1/2 hour.

Hope all goes well and you feel better real soon :)
