Next year the gym assesment at my school is to run a mile in 12 minutes. My gym teacher says that is easy and most people can do that walking. (you have to understand i know nothing about this at all.) So... i got on my treadmill today to see if you could do it. I ended up running for 10 minutes at 4 mph and my distance was "0.57" before i decided to stop. Im not in horrible shape. I am a dancer so I am in shape, its just that im not good at the whole "cardio vascular" c**p. Does that mean i did only a half mile? Im confused. Can someone explain?
