I need to bleed fuel lines on a 11hp unversal diesel help....?

Do not fill the filter with raw fuel! you are bypassing the filter by doing this.

Make sure your valves are open to the tank and you have fuel.

Use the lift pump on the side of the engine to pressurise the system then open the bleed s***w on the filter housing, continue to pump until clear fuel runs out without bubbles.

Close the s***w and then open the bleed s***w on the fuel pump and operate the lift pump until clear fuel comes out. Close the s***w.

Loosen the nut on the fuel line at the injector, with the shut off lever in the run position crank the engine until a good flow of fuel leaks out around the joint then tighten the nut.

You should then be able to start the engine.

If you don't know how to bleed fuel lines, you got no business running that 11hp  Unversal diesel. Just bleed them like you bleed any other kind of fluid. Crack the nipple!

take the fuel filter off and fill it with diesel before reinstalling.  There should also be a small button or lever on the fuel pump to manually prime the system the rest of the way.  If you ran the thing dry, you may have to prime it a couple of times to get all the air out.
