Question:

I need to book an unusual venue in London for 250 people for dinner + wine for £25 a head! Any ideas?

Was thinking riverboat or madame tussauds but too expensive.

  1. well the best i cann suggest is a a venue near my fathers resturant its just a banqueting hall , but for that price my dad can cook the food which would be indian, and the wine as well as jazz the place up ...... what do u say ? if you would like to discuss furthur please do not hesitate to get in touch, btw not in london its in newbury park, in essex near ilford.

  2. Hi - Have you tried the Floating Lotus? its a chinese restaurant on a boat at Docklands. I dont know if itd hold 250 but you could contact them to find out. Its reasonably priced and lovely food - I went for Valentines last year! Have attached link below.

  9. BFI has a bunch of space and they have a cafe, maybe they could work out an event for you.

    The British Museum does events at night after hours.

    Wine is the hard part.

  11. Not exactly London, but you could try the medieval banquet nights at Hatfield House, about 20 miles N of London.  Your guests could dress in costume, or not as they chose and the meal comes with mead and wine included.

  13. How about having a big fancy picnic in trhe countryside and giving the excess money raised to a good cause.

  14. Unusual huh? How about just a beautiful banquetting suite. There are loads that would cater for your budget and also then you could add your own entertainment, i.e live music, dancers, circus acts etc.
