I need to pay my school fee of $1200 tomorrow because it's already due for two months. My parents got some financial problem so that they can't pay for me. But my uncle told me that he will pay for it next month. However i can't wait for that long because i have to pay it tomorrow. So I need to borrow $1200 from my neighbor he is rich. What's the best way to ask help from him and will he borrow the money t me???...any advice..thanks...

  1. Just ask if he could loan you the money. Don't expect it.

Just because you think he is rich doesn't mean he has the avaialable cash to loan you or even wants to get involved with a loan. The fact that it has been due for two months and you can't pay it, to me would mean there is a slim chance that you would be able to repay the loan.

    Good Luck.

  2. Rich people don't like to lend their money, unless there is something in it for them. But then again, that depends on how close you are with your neighbor, and how long you have known them. At the same time, how will your parents feel about it? Because that would probably make them look bad.

If you have to ask your neighbor, first ask him for advice. Explain to him your money situation and see what solution he offers you. After that, if you still have the will to ask him, then say, "what offer would I have to make you so you could lend me this college money, knowing that my uncle will pay it back to you in full within twenty days?"

    I hope that helps.

  3. Well, i think the best way to confront him is to start off by telling him about how ur parents cant pay your school fee, then keep going about that, at one point or another he may just offer the money but otherwise just be honest and ask him

  4. Not asking at all. What guarantee do you have your uncle will pay you that money? This has a potential to be explosive and would taint your parent's relationships with your neighbor. One thing I know is rich people do not part with their money easily, if at all. Talk with your school and see if they can understand, apply for a grant or school loan. Another thing is looks can be deceiving, you may think your neighbor is rich but he may be living on borrowed money.

  5. State the request and how/when you are going to repay it.

    Best

  6. how do you know he will lend it to you? take a semester off, get a joba nd save your money for the next semester

  7. Rich people are not in the habit of giving money away (loan or whatever). And of course, just by asking, you would be putting your parents in a most ridiculous  and very  awkward position. Might as well approach the school itself and try to work a deal with them
