I need to buy red sox tickets for my husband's birthday on the 10th. What's better, roof box, field box or loge? I know he'd like the deluxe field box service, but I wonder if being right on the field is better? He's a big fan. It's a surprise! Any thoughts?? Thanks !

  1. next to the redsox dugout

  2. Stub hub shows surprisingly "cheap" tickets available for this game, given that it's such a huge series for the Sox.  I see tickets for as cheap as $35!!  Those are out in the bleachers, which is where I've sat the last few times I've gone. Bleacher seats are great for evening games, once the sun goes down.

But...If money's no option (and I assume it's not, if you're talking about deluxe boxes and field seats...cause you're talking $200-300 per ticket in those locations...), I'd go for the field seats.  Fenway's such a close, intimate park that you're going to really feel like part of the game there.  Best seats I ever had at Fenway (back in 83, I think!) were down the left field line in their "field boxes."  I don't remember the section, but it's around field box 76.  If it were me (and I had money to burn), I'd look for whatever field box you can get in a row closest to the field.

Good luck -- Fenway's such a great place to see a game.  Have fun, and go Sox!!

  3. right next to the red sox dugout, i would kiss and hug a complete stranger if they got me seats right there, there probably field box go to redsox.com, ticketmaster.com or aceticket.com and look for field boxes

    have a good time!
