I am looking to buy a car under $10,000 that is either small, or a compact SUV. My husband is really tall, so we need something that's incredibly ROOMY. He actually likes the New Beetles because of their domed shape. But I have heard that there are lots of problems with them. What kind of car do you suggest getting? I need something that will hold a LOT of weight on a regular basis, and something with a back seat. I really like the Toyota Prius and Yaris, Honda CR-V, Nissan Versa etc... something that's small-looking, but roomy on the inside. Something sturdy.

  2. My sons own a Mazda Protege and a Jeep Rangler.

  3. My family owns a 2004.5 Kia Spectra. My father is over 6 feet and can very comfortably in the front and back seats. It is very reliable. It has over 90,000 miles on it and has not been in the shop for a repair, only oil changes. It looks sporty and is very roomy. It has a very sturdy strong feeling and gets an average of 32 miles a gallon. You can get a 2004.5 (2004 is before redesign) for about 10,000 or lower. Hope I helped. Good Luck.
