I know all about the Honda's but they are a little too pricey for me. What would be the best car after the Honda?

Thanks for your help!

OHH and I'm buying a used one.

  1. The two best are Honda and Toyota. Maybe Ford Freestyle?? We had that as a rental, it was very roomy, We put like 3000 mile in a week in it and had no problem.. I'm sure it's much cheaper used than Honda and Toyota..

  2. Toyota Sienna actually rate higher in reliability than the Honda (which according to CR rates = to a Chrysler)...

but the toyota is still pricey.

another good bet if buying new used is the Hyundai Entourage.  it actually rates higher than all other vans for safety and they practically give used ones away.  you want an 05 or newer.

  3. when you buy used it dont matter.. you get what you got money for...always check the car out... look under it for signs of oil leak and check all the fluid levels before starting if any of them are low or you see any leaks under it dont buy it.... check every button and switch drive it 30 minutes checking on it drives and runs then recheck everything again and then decide,,, if you have any qusetion dont get it

  4. look at  a new Kia Rondo

    $15,000 to $18K

  5. Try a Dodge Caravan. Those have great features inside like Stow & Go , DVD Screens etc.

Second choice would be Mazda 5. Its getting good reviews. So does Kia Sedona.

Personally I am a bit leery of the minivans for two reasons.

    1. They are a pain to clean & you tend to pile all kind of stuff since it has loads of Storage. Together that makes perfect breeding ground for germs.

    2. They are pretty dorky Soccer Mommish.

Me I'd go for those Wagons out there or Crossover SUVs.

  6. Toyota would be your best bet after Honda.
