I need to change the name that appears on yahoo message boards. All that comes up is my yahoo ID .?

When I chat in a yahoo group, my IM /email address appears instead of my chat name. Please help me so that my nickname appears instead of my ID

  1. at the top of this screen you will see "MY ACCOUNT" click it. you might have to sign-in to yahoo again, do it. then you will see where you can edit your profile. easy to do. if you have any problems with this you should hold the power button on your PC for about 10 seconds until your screen goes black.
