I need to change the strings on my acoustic, but i dont what string i need!?

ok its an acoustic electric dean flying v. my string broke a couple days ago and i dont know which string i need when i took of the string it had a litttle small metal cricle at the end. do guitar strings come with it? is it a certain type of string?
