Ok, he lives down south, in Texas I think, and I live in Wisconsin. I shipped him a $400 Bose Wave Radio and it got damaged during shipping, we need to file a claim, but we don't know who should do it, should he ship it back to me and have me file a claim? or should HE file it down in Texas?

Thanks in advance!

  1. DO NOT HAVE THE BUYER SHIP IT BACK!!!!!

    That will void the insurance.

The buyer can initiate the claim. The buyer MUST retain all packaging materials as well as the damaged item, and present it to USPS for inspection on request.

The buyer does NOT need the original Insurance Receipt, so do not think about mailing that to them.

Read thru this section of our DMM. It will instruct you on exactly how to proceed.
