  1. The simplest would be a C-Clamp available at any hardware or home store in sizes from 1" to 12".

  2. You can purchase adjustable hose clamps from the plumbing dept in a hardware store.  They look like the old radiator hose clamps.  They can come in very small and large sizes.

  3. Just a couple of C clamps..........maybe 3 don't know how tall you are.........but they work nice

  4. They make a U shaped clamp for automotive exhaust pipes. That would fit very well, but it is made of steel.

A better item, but harder to find, would be a clamp made to attach an antenna to it's mast. You might find one of those in aluminum. That would be better than steel because dissimilar metals cause a problem over time.

If you had to use a steel clamp, you could "insulate" it with rubber to keep the metals from touching.

The strength needed for the clamp depends on the length of the tube and what else is on it, e.g. an umbrella.
