  1. Start folding your clothes. Put dirty laundry in the laundry hamper. Make your bed.  Find storage containers (plastic or cardboard) and put stuff you don't use in it.  Dust, vacuum.  Throw away or recycle anything you no longer need, like old magazines, etc.  Put things back on the shelves and in drawers.

  2. Start with the clothes! Wash the dirty stuff, put away the clean stuff.

Then if you don't know what you want to keep/throw away, make piles to sort things out. Hair/makeup stuff, pens and office stuff, random papers, important papers, etc. Throw away what you don't need, forgot you had, or haven't used in 3 months.

Make your goal being able to vacuum the floor!

  3. Put the stuff you want to keep in boxes under the bed or in the back of the wardrobe.

  4. hahaha. i know the feeling.

first throw/give/move away everything you don't need/want/or could find a better place for than your room. half of the mess comes from having too many "things" and no where to keep them. second take care of the clothes, because i know there are a lot on the floor right? wash dirty ones and put the clean ones where they belong! go through all the c**p under your bed, on your closet floor, and in your junk drawers/shelves. be discriminating. get rid of c**p. organize the rest, so that every thing has a proper place. once everything is in its place, the floor should be free of litter and under your bed should be a good place to hide again(right?). if not keep cleaning. if so do some good vacuuming and dusting and you should be good to go:)
