May I suggest the following approaches:

a) visit www.algore.com  to ask Mr. Gore his opnion and solution (if he is not too busy with making a lot of money by scaring people with global warming)

b) tell your teacher global warming is a political propaganda because the earth knows how to adjust itself.

c) ask everyone in north America and European  countries to live a life as those in Africa. That should eliminate the whole global warming issue.

If your teach does not believe it, tell him/her to wait for another 20 years to re-visit this issue.

How about the many advantages of our country moving away from a fossil fuel based energy system to one based on clean renewable sources?

That would reduce the risk of global warming, eliminate our dependence on foreign oil (and stop all the money that's currently going to countries that help support terrorism), clean up our air (coal power is notorious for causing health problems), make our cities quieter (imagine silent electric cars vs. loud gas engines), etc.
