  1. no,the enhanced crb check is about you -no one else

  2. It's only if you want to work in the prison service that they check on family members, otherwise you will be fine if your record is clean.

Just be aware that everything gets brought up on an enhanced check such as juvenile offenses and cautions.

  3. The CHECK is on you, not your son, so no disclosure required by you about him.

  4. Im a wee bit confused.  How can your son live with you and be in prison at the same time?  What, does he get weekends off for good behavior?  Ok, enough with being a jerk.

Keep it to yourself.  If they ask about it later, let them know you didnt feel it was relevant because your son commited the crime, not you.

Now if the kids are going to be at your house when your son is home, then I would disclose that PRONTO!!

  5. No, the check is on you not those you live with.

  6. Honesty is the best policy - so I would advise you to be as open and honest about your situation as you possibly can.  Hide nothing, because they will find out anyway.

  7. no they check you not your children-but can i add if it was a serious crime or one that was against vulnerable people ie kids or the elderly then you could find yourself in your bosses office- when they find out just because hes living in your home and they dont want or need that kind of publicity-but no it wont show up on a crb check
