I need to cover up my red couch for an evening, what can I use?

I'm having a cocktail party as my reception next week at our apartment. We have a red couch, but since my reception is pink & white the couch will look out of place. I'm trying so hard to find a white couch cover, but it seems no place has any. Plus I don't have time to order one. I live in Brooklyn and live in Manhattan, so if anyone who lives here knows where I could get one, I will be very greatful. Thanks

Put a big white throw over the back of the sofa, then add pink and white throw pillow.  If you can find a pillow that combines pink white & red you're good to go (or better yet a throw that combines the colors)!

Honestly, sofa covers are AWFUL - unless you buy a custom made one, in which case you are probably better off getting a new sofa!!!

Find some white sheets if all else fails or get a couple of nice co-ordinated chenille throws and cleverly drape them!

Have you thought about adding, perhaps, a little red rose into a floral centerpiece to tie the red into your scheme?

I take it you are having a party.  If you can find a sort of theme or common element, i.e., what is reason for party, try some fabric from large fabric store with good sale table, or sheet, or large tablecloth, and complement scheme.  Or, use cool, old but clean tshirts.  I covered some large throw pillows with hawaiian shirts from a thrift shop once.  Just button 'em up. Fabric stores have special pins for upholstery, you s***w them in, and they don't leave marks.

To keep sheets or fabric in place, roll up old magazines tightly, put several rubber bands to hold roll, and shove them down,tight as you can,  into crevices of furniture, on top of fabric.  

If you hate this idea, you can buy bath towels that are exact shade of couch, and tuck in tightly.

find a big white or pink sheet...

and tuck into every crease.

and let the rest just kinda hang;

its what i used to cover up my brown couch in a black&white party.

plus its inexpensive and pretty easy!

and just put white and pink pillows on it.

im sure the pillows will be easier to find!

there are many fabric store around, pick out something with a pretty design and let them know it's to cover your couch they'll help you out.
