I need to decide on a dance for my pageant thing...what should I do?

I need to pick a style of dance number for a pageant talent contest I am going to be in. I will be dancing ballet, en pointe. I've danced for 11 years. Does anyone have ideas...I don't want to do something too traditional, but is that what the judges like at these things? Any tips for a first time cheoreographer. Thanks so much for the help...I'm pretty excited to do this.

i was in a pageant two years ago and i performed the bluebird from sleeping beauty.  That dance is fun but a lot of work.  If done correctly it looks absolutely beautiful! Search it on youtube and you will see what i mean.  There are so many variations of this dance that you can play with it and see what works for you.

If you still go to dance class, ask your dance teacher!

do like a modern song for pointe it would be cool and you could also do like hip hop or jazz with you are just standing flat
