Did they really quit teaching kids how to do unit conversions in school?  This isn't even english to metric, its straight up english to english...whats even more dissapointing is that there is a large portion of our population today that is incapable of calculation basic unit conversion problems.  I am a math major so perhaps I am biased, but this sort of lack of knowledge is why America is falling WAY behind in education!
