I need to do a 5 minute talk about Germany as a holiday destination. How do you feel about Germany.?

What would you want to do, see in Germany? How do you feel about Germany? What is most important to do and really shouldn't be missed? What do you know about Germany etc.

Well to be honest it's a place I've always wanted to visit - my dad used to work with German medical students and they were always very nice people....

Visist Germany at christmas time, especally Cologne where the streets come alive with charming Christmas markets, traditional foods, wooden toys and lots of craft type gifts. They have a boat docked on the Rhine that also holds a craft fair, it is very pretty especially if it snows and the whole town seems to come alive after dark.  People eating hot dogs and drinking Gluwein.  hot mulled red wine with spices in,  During the day you can wander around the old city and visit some of the spectacular churches and historical sights.  Visit a beer Keller,  ( How do they keep up with the fast pace of these)  you only have to lift your empty glass and its refilled with more beer,

great towns and cities well worth a visit , beautiful architecture in many , I have planned the Rhine valley and want to visit more rural areas . Bremen , Berlin Hamburg are great cities that should not be missed . efficient  transport system , nice people .

Germany is great!  If you want a metropolitin city to visit, go to Berlin or Frankfurt.  If you want to see gorgeous countryside, go to Munich.  Get a railpass and visit the whole country!
