Look back at how warm the earth was during the Jurassic, this latest thing we are seeing is completely natural.  Methane is four times as bad as CO2, my company has studied it.  Cows could actually be worse than cars!  Hard to believe given all the hype but true.  Hope this helps.

To Saul M, let's base this on facts, not liberal hysteria.  Al Gore is an idiot and scientists are now coming forward saying they were threatened to support global warming.

Someone told me we are actually experiencing global cooling. I can't believe they're forcing you to do an essay on global warming. How about you prove that it's just climate change. Ever since the earth was a ball of water, this cycle has been happening for ever. When the earth started, it was full of poisonous gasses that should have depleted this "so-called" ozone layer. But those poisonous gases eventually blocked out the sun and that's when the Ice Age started. Then, I believe it was the earth's core gaining heat as the earth as a natural cycle and can keep itself regulated fairly well. But that ice eventually began melting and started the basic cycle we know as cooling and warming. And even if the polar ice caps do melt, it's not going to flood the earth because the volume of water is less than the volume of ice.

Start by not calling it global warming, since that is a theory. Climate change is the more accepted, and more accurate, term. And don't mention Wisconsin's state record snow fall this winter, or any of the Midwests/East Coast state's record cold winters.  :-D
