how do i do a system restore, i want my computer to be the way it was when i first bought it but i dont want to loose the work and files that i have now. how do i save everything before doing a system restore.

  1. As above said backup on disc, then go to start menu, accessories, system tools, system restore, choose a date that you wish to go back to. If you have any problems might be better to install fresh copy of windows.
