I need to download a book about reiki?

Question

I need to learn about this system, but i can't afford to go to classes and so i want to find a book or manual or whatever than can teach me smth :D if u have the book and can send it over or a link or smth, plz:D

do not trust self attunements and you cannot learn reiki from a book. a reiki 1 class (in europe or america) should not cost more than 150 dollars. most teachers will allow you to pay in installments or find a way for you to get the course (although u WILL have to pay for it). in my experience, everyone who really wanted to learn reiki found the means to pay for it.

dont trust people who promise attunements online or through the phone etc. make sure the teacher you go to can tell his/her lineage and ask their students and people they've treated for recommendations.

I've been involved with Usui and "other Reikis" for 20 years, and teaching for 14.  I *assure* you the self attunement method works *perfectly* notwithstanding what others may say  :))  Needless to say, many are against self attunement since it cuts into their "profits".  Sad.

Joe the Man (reiki master) makes a good point.  There are many Reiki Masters out there that understand the psychology of give and take.  There is plenty you can find on the internet about Reiki, but you do need to have a Master perform an attunement.  There are things that happen during and after an attunement of which you need to be aware.   Your best bet would be to locate a Reiki Master willing to work with you.  The first Reiki level helps you understand (sort of) how the energy works and practicing in a group situation helps you gain experience and gives you an understanding what you are responsible for and those things for which you are not responsible.  Also, and very importantly, the Federal government is becoming involved.  Good luck, and God Bless.
