I need to drop a back-up QB in my fantasy football league. I have Palmer. Get rid of Favre or Rivers?

Also, if you had to choose, who would you pick up first: Robert Meachem, Kevin Boss or James Hardy ... and why? Thanks!

Get rid of Fav-ra , came to training camp late, and still needs to know the termanology and Off. L. Coles and Cotchery are average rec, but I would chose Rivers, great TE Gates, LT out of the backfield, Chambers is a proven vet, and Vicent Jackson was coming into his own, at the end of the season. plus one of the top offenses in NFL..Go with Boss, should be Mannings Security blanket this year, with Shockey gone.

My sources tell me to look out for Felix Jones. He may be the biggest sleeper out there. Good Luck.

I guess I would drop Rivers.  Farve is a high risk vs reward.  You are going to likely start Palmer anyway...so keep Farve and if he works..GREAT.

I would add Hardy.  He is a rookie but should start.  He is also tall and makes a great red zone target.  I know the Bills QBs are not great but they should be able to throw a ball high and tell Hardy to go get it.

If possible, try to offer a trade first to get a better player than the three you mentioned. Both Rivers and Favre have a lot of name buzz going for them, so you should be able to field a decent offer for one of them.

As for Bengals bye week, Favre plays KC Chiefs at NY while Rivers plays NO Saints at NO. So everything else equal, Favre will have the better match up.

Meachem would be my first pick out of the three because there is early word that Devery Henderson might be cut due to Meachem having such a good camp. He can be their deep threat but will probably not start the season any higher than the #3 WR unless there is an injury.

Hardy is going to be a goal line threat but is not having as good of a camp as Meachem to this point. Evans is the starter and they will lean heavily on Lynch and Fred and they have an awesome rookie named Xavier, so they will run a lot. I don't think he will end up with as many catches or yards than Meachem but may have same or more TD's due to his size.

Boss should be a starting TE but there should be better available to you unless you are in 16 or more team league. Consider Fasano out of MIA or Crumpler for TEN if they are available.

Get rid of Rivers, why do you have slum around anyways...sorry i didn't mean to go on a bashing spree but he is garbage.  And, no offense, but how could you pick between him and Favre? **shakes my head in pity, than spits** LoL...
