I need to edit some pictures,right.Should be simple.But.......?

You see Im a dumb ***.And computers and **** dont like me or something.I want to do something,Im sure is very simple but I cant figure it out so I have to post my question here.I have a picture,and another picture.I want edit,crop and bla bla bla one of the pics and add it to the other pic so its one pic.You see I have this cool pic of this sunset type thing,and I want to take another pic of myself and place it abouve the sunset.So its one pic.Then set it as my myspace background.Can someone please tell me the most easiest way to do this.Im not really looking to download any programs to to this eathier.But if its real easy and a must then I will.Another thing I want to do is,I have a bunch of pics I want to edit and crop and stuff and put them all around another pic so its one pic,and use it as a background in the future.Kind of like a collage.Can somebody tell me a easy way to do this PLEASE !!!!

the simplest way, is to use paint, to open both images, select with star lasso tool around item with transparency on, copy, then paste over other background image with transparency on,

there are tools on line you could try, by using layers to place one image over the other, and erase around item on top layer,

for collage, you may need other program or use gimp with layers, you could use paint for basic but for blending and effects  try others,
