I'm a little too old to fully understand what a blog is and how to get one, but am willing to learn if that is a good way to get out there. Is this something I should try? I am also looking into some free website services so I can create and put up a webpage. Can you recommend a good, free option for creating a page? Microsoft's OfficeLive.com offers a page plus a store on Ebay. Anyone have experience with that? Any other suggestions? Thanks for your help.

  1. I set up my office web site. It was easy and I had a lot of help, most of it through easy to follow tutorials, but people are available to answer questions and they also give you a little class. They teach you how to move up on the Google listings and other search engines. The site can have more pages and features than you can probably ever use and you can add your own art, pictures, and text as well as use their extensive libraries. It's also pretty cheap, not much more than just getting a web domain, which is easy on godaddy.com , and some money per month for the templates you choose to use, and there are hundreds of possibilities, no, probably thousands. The site is http://www.superlative.com/ and I only used it, I don't get a thing out of recommending them, but they were really great to work with. They will walk you through the whole process and it's pretty fun to do actually. You don't need to know html coding or anything, just choose options and make it happen, and you can change it any time you feel like it.

    Good Luck!

edit: just to make it simple, you go to godaddy.com and get a domain name for a few bucks. You can also get 100 emails under that domain for a few bucks a year, and you can control them, it's pretty cool. Then go to superlative  and get a package to set up a website on that domain name. Really is easy as pie.

  3. Go to barter section in craigslist if you want one for free but be prepared to do something in return for it.

  4. start with my website listed below.  It will show you step-by-step the process for getting free websites and starting blogs, along with other information on how to making money with a low budget.

  5. If you are setting up a web site for a business, put some pages showing some information about a topic you know well.    How something is made, or how to tell a good one from a bad one, or some technical information.  This will get you at the top of many search engines quickly.

  6. usually the free websites that you can make your own.. aren't very good, its usually a free trial then if you don't pay to use it you can't acess your site anymore. i'd just buy one.. cuz the free ones theres always something on the end of the adress... not just .com its like blogstop.com or something... annoying if you ask me.. i'd just make an ad online and then just get it only somehow.. but you should get a website and put your imformation on there, locations, products, etc..... and if you can get a website..... you should get a redirecting link..... if they search up your site like www.__________.com  it'll redirect you to your site www._______._________.com/ca (if your doing a free site) hopes this helps
