I need to figure this outttt okay is a gas stasia a which is on your normal route home is selling gas for 2.90

a gallon. if you go to stasia b you can get gas at selles gas for 2.75 a gallon but your route hoem will be 5 miles longer 10 minutes longer. I your car gets 20 miles per gallon and has a 13 gallon tank would go out of your way to get gas there?

Yes, I would. My car has a 14 gallon tank and gets about 18 MPG. It's worth the $0.15.

Nope, I won't drive more than a mile out of my way to get cheaper gas.  My time has value and on a 20 gallon fillup, the most I can save is 3 bucks.  3 bucks is a small price to pay to spend with my kids and wife for an extra 20 minutes, using your estimates.

You also don't say if they're the same brand.  I never, ever buy anything but Top Tier gasoline, or I buy enough c**p gas to get me to a Top Tier station.
