  1. Go to the irs website and they have a link for forms.

You will need your own 1040 for FAFSA. Did you file your taxes? On the FAFSA they have what line from the 1040 the info you need is located. Ask your parents if you didn't file your own return. (more info is needed, like are you a dependent, did you file your return...)

  2. 1040's are the Federal Tax returns.  Ask your parents, they most likely saved a copy of theirs.  Double check with your parents to see if you filed.

If you don't have copies you can call the IRS at 1-800-829-1040 to request a transcript.  If the taxes were prepared professionally, such as H&R Block, Liberty Tax ect, then you can go back to the preparer to see if they can give you a copy.

  3. did u file taxes?  if not, you don't have a 1040... if you were supposed to file, then file...r u independent or do you have to fill out parental info...if parent, you'll use their financial info (1040)...if independent and don't file then your income was zero and other tax related ques will b zero

  4. You can obtain your IRS issued 1040 tax return transcripts in 1-2 business days from Accuverify.com

  5. These are the tax forms you and/or your parents filed with the IRS.  If you didn't keep a copy when you filed, you can contact the IRS and request an abstract or a copy of the forms.

  6. These are federal income tax forms. If you did not have to file for yourself, then you will need your parent(s)'.
