  1. We use CruiseDeals.com and get a great deal every year.  My entire family goes.

Ask for Jeannie - she is very helpful.

  2. I have used "vacations to go" and they are great. Just go and look at what they have. You can also get discounts because of early booking too. Most all cruise ships offer this.

  3. Best thing to do for a bargain is Brose all the Cruises and look for a site with weekly cruise deals like http://www.cruiseasy.joystar.com  and book it a soon as possible because when they start to fill up you might not get the best deal

  4. You can signup for www.travelzoo.com, its a travel link that when you signup e-mails you whenever there is a deal in regard to cruises.

  5. It won't be "cheap" in the summer, as that's one of the prime cruising times [even though it's hurricane season] because the kids are out of school.  But you can try any of the usual travel websites [Expedia, Orbitz, etc] as well as VacationsToGo.com.  The prices don't really vary all that much, as the cruise lines have some control over the pricing.

  6. Steer Clear of Carnival!!! They are a budget cruise line in the worst way. Sure they are cheap and most families go on them but they are not good at all. I have been on one and will never do it again. However my brother is 21 years old like you and did a Carnival cruise. He said its soooo boring. He said if your idea of fun is drinking and gambling like an animal than go with carnival because thats ALL they do. He also complained about other things like rude staff, bad food, wierd musty smells, bad ship layout, un-supervised kids up to mischief, and although the decor look lovely from a distance or in a picture, most of it is synthetic at plastic, and just plain ugly. And this wasnt even an old ship it was the conquest! The conquest for God sakes!!!!! My cruise with them was the exact same thing.

Go with Royal Caribbean. They are a tad bit more expensive but it is well worth it. Their ships are cleaner and very beautiful. The staff is also nice and their are loads of activities for anyone of any age. Go with them its a better value.

Now that all of that is said and done ill give you what you asked for, try http://www.vacationstogo.com Also try early booking, that way you can get a better deal and if you book early you may even get a cabin upgrade. Just search around for good deals and choose the one best for you.

Hope I helped and Happy Sailing

  7. Book as early as possible.  I would suggest the Valor ship.  I did that cruise and it was great.

Use a good travel agent or try to get a group going.  Those two things can help drop your price.

  8. Book your cruise in late September or early October.  You get great rates.  The risk is that you are booking during hurricane season, but that never bothered me too much.  Since a cruise ship is mobile they can steer clear of nasty storms.
