I need to find a Kayak?

What type of kayak should I get?

I have never been kayaking before but want to start. I want one that will go down the french braud river but one not built for speed but for more free style. Is there one where you could get air in?

Take a few lessons before buying anything.  A good kayak school will have several different models and styles for you to try.  After that you won't need the opinions of anyone here.
