I need to find a laptop soon, preferably a MAC, suited mainly for Graphic Design and college. Which is best?

I start college soon, and am majoring in Graphic Design and Studio Art. I need to find a reliable laptop that is light, yet efficient for the multiple tasks I will be preforming during the year. Any suggestions?

  1. Get a MacBook Pro 17inch with the glossy screen and Core II intel chip.

    If you look you can even get a "refurb" one from the Apple Store on-line - they will come with a 2 year "apple care warranty" still.
