I need to find a place to volunteer?

Since you're only 12, maybe you should talk to somebody at school... Oops, it is vacation, isn't it? Still, there might be somebody there. Do you have a church or a community center you can visit and talk to someone?

You're right that being 12 will present some problems. It would be great if you knew somebody older to help, but if you don't, that's OK. It's still a great idea and I'm impressed that you're looking. Volunteers are some of the greatest people in the world!

You could ask some of your family members, maybe they have resources through their jobs, churches, or even causes that they volunteer with where you could join in too. Also maybe consider collecting recycleables from family, friends and neighbors or hosting a neighborhood rummage sale to donate the procedes to a designated charity. You dont have to join someone elses cause to make a difference so just use your imagination-and check it out with your parents before you get started. Good luck!!
