well I am sure you are not in my neighbourhood so it is pointless suggeting my local restauarant but why not do a yahoo search of  chinese food in your area.

Try calling ahead and asking if the kitchen prepares chow mein Hong Kong style. This is noodles that are fried crisp and delicious and then the other ingredients are added. When prepared properly the noodles are browned and crispy. This adds a good texture  to the dish. I used to work for SkyChef and I prepared this style of chow mein quite often. hope this helps, chef paul
