  1. Blogger.com http://www.blogger.com is the best because:

    - it is FREE

    - it is owned by Google so adding Adsense is a breeze

With Blogger, you can host the blog in Blogger, you can host it in your own domain, or do a custom hosting that redirects the blog to your URL

  2. Wordpress is just as easy to use as Google's Blogger software, but it's inherently more search engine friendly (ironically!) and because it's open source, there are developers around the world constantly developing cool plugins to enhance the site.  They'll host it for you too.

  3. make a blog on blogger, tutorial for creating your first blog:

to add ads to your blog, tutorial:

  4. Here are three options for you that are free and able to use adsense.

    http://www.blogger.com

Easiest of the three for Adsense insertion.

    Wordpress

    http://www.wordpress.com

    and

    Livespace

    http://home.services.spaces.live.com/

Hope this will be of help.

  5. You can do that by creating a free website with Microsoft Office Live Small Business - http://tinyurl.com/officelive . Currently, MS is offering a free domain (i.e. yourwebsite.com) for the first year. It has a great online design tool that lets you create web pages without coding. It integrates with Windows Live Spaces Blog. It provides 500mb of storage and allows you to have your ads including Adsense.

  6. Stay away from Microsoft Office Small Live Business!!  Horror, horror, horror!

Blogger is good.  It gets picked up by Google, and you can have adsense on there.  Plus, it is free, of course!

    OR

You could pay for hosting (which comes with free web domain name) and install WordPress.  From there, pick your theme (google "wordpress themes" and you will find HUNDREDS!).  In the description of the theme, you will see if it is created to support adsense and more.

I only suggest this alternative because it gives you so much more freedom to do what you want.  Go to http://www.growing-entrepreneur.com and you will see a wordpress blog that is hosted by lunarpages.com.  Plus, there is an adsense ad on there.  (I don't want it there... but for now it is there!)  There is a lot of freedom when you go this route!

    Good luck!
