First Choose one of the sites that Messenger (first answer) has already given you to resize the photos.

Now to join the pics, you already have the software if you are using Microsoft OS.

To join 2 or more pics together

You can do this is Paint. Resize your picture to the perfect size,then open another paint window and use the selection tool (the rectangular thing at the top left corner of the tool bar) to trace around a picture and then the copy and paste trick.

Go back to your other paint window after that then paste a picture somewhere that doesn't cover your other pic.
