I need to find a youth friendly bible in mandarin?

Nothing thats written in old language, but something that will really be on a level with a young 20 something girl, equivelent with a New living version in English.

Jehovah's witnesses offer bibles free of charge. You can contact the office in Brooklyn, New York, on 718 560 5000 during office hours. Let the operator know that you would like a copy of the bible in Chinese (mandarin) and she'll connect you to the right department.

You can also contact any local witness at the Kingdom Hall or when they visit you or if you see them in the street.

I'm not sure...but maybe contact a Chinese Christian church.  If you google it there's more than you would think.  Ask them if they have an idea where you could get that maybe.

If you contact your local hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, they will get you a copy of the bible either in Pinyin or Characters. Both in the modern language you require.

Oh and there is no charge for any literature from the Jehovah's Witnesses.

Try the International Bible Society or the American Bible Society.  Do not know their websites off hand but you can search for them easily on Yahoo.  Both groups (at least as of a few years back) publish many different Bible translations in dozens or hundreds of languages, so they might well have what you are looking for.

You can pretty much find in at any christian shops in Asian/Chinese speaking City or Country.

If you happen to live in Singapore, Go to tampines. The other mall that isn't Tampines mall.
