I need to find an acting agency, any help?

Take a copy of your ACTING RESUME, some photos of yourself and hit the yellow pages in New York City or Chicago... there are TONS of acting agencies in those towns.

Don't listen to that Looardislander. You cannot just pick up a New York or Chicago phone book and expect any of them to represent you, because 19/20 times they won't, unless you live in the immediate area. Take the phone book in YOUR area and send your resume to that place. You can also put in any search engine "Talent Agencies in ___"  (the agencies are talent agencies, not acting agencies) and put your city in the blank. Google search them to see if they are reputable or not. Also asking you acting coach or teacher (if you have one) where you might find a good agency is another idea.Word of mouth is also another idea, people talk  and you should listen to what they say!

Remember if they ask for any money (for classes or head shots or what ever) they are a SCAM and you just walk away.

Any good agencies will be a member of SAG or AFTRA. Look on those websites and find the list of agencies:)
