My daughter has to take a dish to school for Spanish class. We are barely scraping by and alot of the recipes I looked at are gonna cost me more money than we have at the end of the week. She needs to take enough to feed her class of 24. If anybody has a recipe that would feed a large group of people for a small amount of money it would be helpful. Also, for your information, we live in a very small amish town in Indiana and cannot find alot of the traditional ingredients so please try to remember that when you think of a recipe. Thank you all in advance for reading this and answering

  1. I think this will work, it's easy and inexpensive to make.

    Bolivian Leche Asada  (Roasted Milk)

    Ingredients:

    12 whole eggs

    4 cups milk

    2 cups granulated sugar

    Preparation:

In a mixing bowl, beat the twelve eggs until well combined and frothy. Add the sugar and milk. Mix very well.

Pour the mixture into a baking dish and bake at a medium temperature (European oven: 200 Celsius degrees; American oven: 392 Fahrenheit degrees) for one hour.

Let it cool before serving.  Cut into small pieces (24 bite size pieces).
