I found this link. Some of the NE shops are probably cool because they only have decent shops listed in areas that I am familiar with.

I know (by rep only) that peter Pan is the real deal, so you may want to check out his RI location.

Are you looking for a shaper? Do you want a custom board? Or are you just looking to buy a surfboard, not from a shop? Specificity would be helpful.

Check out 5Star surfboards, they're in Hampton, NH, talk to this dude Saschi, he does a lot of the work and all the glassing. He's a pretty gnarly dude, too, I don't think he showers, but he's a funny guy and a great shaper. They shape some pretty ill boards, too, I've got two of them, and next time I'm up that way I'll definately get a couple more.
